Cooper’s Enforcement Rights

  • remove harmful or misleading AI-generated materials

CREATOR & PORTFOLIO CONTENT POLICY

Permitted Portfolio Content

Users may upload portfolio and creator content to showcase their work.

Portfolio content may include:

  • videos
  • designs
  • projects
  • presentations
  • photography
  • written work
  • creative samples
  • recommendation letters
  • achievements
  • CoopCast audio content

User Representations

Users represent that:

  • they own the content or have rights to use it
  • the content does not violate third-party rights
  • the content is accurate and not misleading

Removal of Portfolio Content

Cooper may remove portfolio content that:

  • violates copyrights
  • contains deceptive claims
  • infringes privacy rights
  • impersonates others
  • violates community standards

Users remain solely responsible for portfolio materials uploaded to Cooper.


IDENTITY & IMPERSONATION PROTECTION POLICY

Introduction

Cooper is committed to protecting authenticity, identity integrity, and trust across the platform.

As a discovery-first professional community, Cooper recognizes that usernames, creator identities, public figures, organizations, and brands carry reputational and professional value.


Prohibited Conduct

The following behaviors are prohibited on Cooper:

  • impersonating another individual or organization
  • creating deceptive or misleading profiles
  • falsely representing affiliation with a company, brand, institution, or public figure
  • registering usernames intended to mislead users about identity or ownership
  • creating fake verification signals
  • selling usernames associated with brands or public figures
  • engaging in cybersquatting or identity-based abuse

Cybersquatting

Cooper defines cybersquatting as the registration, use, reservation, acquisition, or control of usernames, handles, or profile identities in bad faith with the intent to:

  • profit from another party’s identity or reputation
  • mislead users
  • block legitimate access to a recognized identity
  • create confusion regarding affiliation or ownership

Cybersquatting may apply even if the account is inactive.


Rights of Legitimate Holders

Legitimate owners of trademarks, organizations, brands, creator identities, or public figure identities may request review, transfer, recovery, restriction, or removal of accounts or usernames that violate this policy.

Cooper reserves the right to:

  • reassign usernames
  • remove misleading handles
  • suspend accounts
  • reserve names associated with public interest or platform integrity

Enforcement

Violations of this policy may result in:

  • username reassignment
  • removal of verification status
  • account restrictions
  • suspension
  • permanent removal from Cooper

ACCOUNT CLAIM & RECOVERY POLICY

How to Submit a Claim

Claims may be submitted through:

Claim requests should include:

  • full legal name
  • claimed username or profile
  • explanation of the claim
  • supporting documentation
  • contact information

Documentation Requirements

Individuals

Brands and Organizations

Review Timeline

Cooper aims to:

  • acknowledge claims within 7 business days
  • review standard claims within 30 business days
  • prioritize urgent impersonation or harmful misuse cases

Possible Outcomes

Following review, Cooper may:

  • transfer a username
  • remove a misleading account
  • restrict impersonation behavior
  • deny the request
  • request additional documentation

Appeals

Users may submit appeals if they believe an identity-related decision was made incorrectly.

Appeals should include:

  • explanation of the appeal
  • additional supporting evidence
  • updated contact information

USERNAME & TRADEMARK POLICY

Blue Verification

Cooper reserves the right to approve or deny verification, revoke verification status, modify verification systems, and update eligibility standards.


Name Transfers and Reassignment

Cooper may reassign usernames when:
